We all face pressures and problems!
We all have mountains to cross!
But …
How do you get over that mountain?
How do you get past that pressure?
Jesus said …

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.
--- John 16:33

Jesus did not say that He has overcome the pressure for us …
But that He has overcome the place the pressure comes from!
What is the difference?
How does that help us overcome our pressures and problems?

God does not remove the mountain or our problems …
But … He helps us overcome the problems ...
... by putting what is necessary to overcome … in our hands!
!!!
If you want to get over the mountain …
… it is extremely important what you do on the way up!

Are you applying pressure to the problem?
Or is the problem putting pressure on you?

Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness … and He was put under pressure.
He was hungry and needed to eat … so the devil put pressure on Him.
"Prove yourself," the devil said … "if you are the Son of God!"
Jesus had to deal with that pressure … He had to cross that mountain!
!!!
… How did Jesus do that?
He did not allow the pressure of the physical circumstances to get to Him!
He did not allow the lies and deceit of the devil to get to Him!
He drew from the source that is available to us all … God's Word!

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
--- Matt 4:4

What was Jesus doing on the way up that mountain?
He used God's Word to put pressure on the problem …
He used God's Word to remove that mountain from before Him!
Jesus overcame … and beat the devil on the way!

What we have to do is to enforce the victory we have in Jesus …
... by using God's Word to cross that mountain …
… by putting pressure on the problem maker!

Satan … it is written!
